| BCM Launches New Intel® Atom™ D525 Dual Core Embedded Low Power Mini ITX Motherboard designed for affordable entry level computing |
The MX525D Mini ITX motherboard is designed based on Intel's Pineview D platform utilizing the Intel® Atom™ D525 processor, a new dual core, low power version of the Intel® Atom™ family. In addition to its dual core feature, the D525 processor runs at 1.8 GHz processing speed and supports DDR3 system memory. The MX525D Mini ITX motherboard also provides rich I/O interfaces including, dual Gigabit LAN, expansion slots, and TPM 1.2 to support additional devices and security features.
Currently BCM offers the MX525D Mini ITX in both ATX power and DC power models. Both versions are ideal for POS, Lottery, Medical, Gaming, high resolution digital signage, surveillance security monitoring, and Kiosk applications. The Intel® Atom™ processor enables low-power and affordable entry-level mobile computing giving system builders and OEMs a wide range of flexibility when designing the products around this architecture.
