BCM introduces AR3399RK Rockchip RK3399 RISC-based ARM motherboard
BCM’s AR3399RK is a high-performance, low power, fanless RISC based ARM single board computer (SBC). The SBC is a stand-alone CPU board (not a module) and is equipped with Rockchip RK3399 dual core cortex-A72 and quad core cortex-A53 processor delivering up to six core computing performance. With integrated ARM Mali-T864 GPU, the board delivers 4K/HD graphics via HDMI and LVDS video output. Onboard MIPI-CSI connector enables camera ready capability.
The AR3399RK measures approximately 3.94 x 5.31 inches (100mmx135mm). It is a palm size small form factor SBC providing rich expansion and I/O interfaces including two M.2, uSD Card Socket, SIM card socket for cellular module, USB Type C OTG, two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, I2C, I2S, COM port and run on a single DC-12V power input. The AR3399RK currently has an Android 8 BSP and will soon offer a Linux Kernel 4.4 BSP that is in process.
The AR3399RK ARM motherboard is an ideal solution for high-end smart applications that require high-performance, low power, light weight and Wi-Fi/BT/Cellular communications for industrial, signage, gaming, HMI, and retail industries. The AR3399RK classifies itself on the higher end of the performance scale for ARM based SBCs providing remarkable computing performance for competitive price.
